Advancements

· To improve the quality and usefulness of the existing library program and media materials by upgrading current material and automating the circulation and cataloging systems.

· To improve necessary equipment and materials for grades kindergarten through sixth for Science Labs.

· To continue to upgrade equipment and materials in our existing seventh and eighth grade Science Labs.

· To continue to follow our Technology Plan and Computer/Technology Curriculum for grades kindergarten through eighth.

· To continue to implement the Family Math Program and begin to incorporate Family Science Programs by trained staff members.

· To continue to implement the curriculum area more effectively through the use of "thematic units" and "writing across the curriculum".

· To provide grades kindergarten through eight with necessary math equipment, materials, and manipulatives, in order to foster more hands-on learning.

· To continue to provide opportunities for all faculty members to attend workshops in order to enhance their professional growth for all curriculum areas which will be reflected in their portfolios.
